To make a holiday to Florida even more exciting for young ones, Clearwater Marine Aquarium has now partnered with the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach to create a series of six aquatic-themed guest rooms featuring the stars of Dolphin Tale and Dolphin Tale 2, Winter and Hope.
Winter shot to fame as the world’s first dolphin to be fitted with a prosthetic tale after her own was injured by a crab trap and had to be amputated.
Equipped with both king and bunk beds, the rooms are ideal for marine-enthusiastic families, or anyone seeking a one-of-a-kind experience inspired by Winter’s remarkable story.
The Clearwater Marine Aquarium is currently undergoing an expansion, which will allow the marine hospital to care for more injured marine life, including sea turtles and dolphins. Guests who spend the day enjoying the non-profit marine rescue centre can then retire to the marine-themed rooms at the Wyndham.
The brand new Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach hotel sits beside the easy-going white beaches of Clearwater, with the Gulf being a renowned dolphin hotspot. The hotel’s two towers and 343 rooms are centrally positioned along Clearwater Beach – a stone’s throw away from Pier 60’s year-round artisan festival, and easily accessible from both Tampa and St. Pete/Clearwater airports.
The lavish hotel has stunning waterfront views, where golden sunshine coats Clearwater Beach, named America’s Third Best Beach by TripAdvisor this year. The hotel offers a full service spa, a 27/7 fitness centre and multiple dining choices.
